Nobbe Racing Wrap Up 2020 Florence Speedway Season with Fall 50

Dustin Nobbe went into battle against a strong field of 26 Super Late Models. A fourth-place finish in his heat race would earn Dustin the eleventh starting position for the $5,000-to-win main event. Despite adverse track conditions, Nobbe advanced four spots to place seventh in the 50-lapper.

Ted Nobbe was one of 25 Crate Late Models on had for a $1,500-to-win program at the half-mile oval. Ted grabbed a heat race victory to earn the third starting position for the 20-lap feature. He went on to finish second behind Jim Couch, with Grant Garrison, Jordan Hedger, and Jeremy Creech rounding out the Top-5.

Top-5 for Dustin Nobbe in Florence Special

(October 10, 2020) Both Dustin and Ted Nobbe return to the driver's seat on Saturday night at Florence speedway in Union, Ky.

Entering a $3,000-to-win special event for Super Late Models, Dustin grabbed a heat race victory to earn the outside-front-row starting spot for the A-Main. Slipping to as far as seventh at one point in the 30-lapper, Nobbe recovered a fifth-place finish behind Trevor Landrum, Justin Rattliff, Bill Sheets, And Austyn Mills.

In the Crate Late Model ranks, Ted started and finished fourth in his heat race. Starting the 20-lap feature in 12th, he jumped up four spots to record an eighth-place outing.

The $5,000 special drew a field of 22 Super Late Models to the half-mile oval. Dustin earbed the second starting position for his heat race via qualifying but fell to a fifth-place finish. Starting the 40-lap feature in 14th, Nobbe fell back to 16th early before racing back to an eighth-place finish in the final rundown.

Podium Finish for Ted Nobbe at Florence Speedway

(September 19, 2020) Ted Nobbe returned to Florence Speedway in Union, Ky. Saturday.

The remainder of the Crate Late Model feature that was nixed by rain last week kicked off the racing program. Starting tenth, Ted advanced seven positions in the remaining 16 circuits to record a third-place finish behind Josh Dietz and Keegan Cox. Elliott Despain and Gary Rahe Jr. rounded out the Top-5.

In the night's regularly scheduled program, Nobbe advanced from eighth to finish fourth in his heat race. Earning the eighth starting position for the feature, Ted missed the setup on his No. 9n Crate Late Model and slipped to 13th in the final rundown.

Rain Spoils Ted Nobbe's Outing at Florence Speedway

A strong field of 25 Crate Late Models converged at the half-mile oval for Fan Appreciation night. Via his preliminary efforts, Ted earned the 14th starting spot for the 20-lap feature. Unfortunately, just four laps into the main event rain began to fall and forced officials to postpone the remained of the event to Saturday, September 19.

Mechanical Foes Ends Dustin Nobbe's Weekend Early

(August 8, 2020) On Friday night, Dustin Nobbe returned to Rockcastle Speedway in Mount Vernon, Kentucky.

Nobbe was piloting Rick Bryant-owned No. 10 R.D.B. Trucking/ Reliable Containers/ Rocket Chassis Late Model in a $2,000-To-Win Pro Late Model Special. Unfortunately, the team's night came to an end before it ever got started. A transmission failure in Hot Laps forced the team to retire from the remainder of the racing program.

Another Busy Weekend for Nobbe Racing

In the Super Late Model ranks, Dustin qualified 11th overall before registering a fifth-place finish in his heat race. Starting the $6,088-to-win feature in 14th, Nobbe advanced one spot to place 13th at the checkered flag.

With $2,088 on the line in the Crate Late Model division, Dustin advanced from fifth in his heat race to finish third. Earning the ninth spot on the feature grid, Nobbe fell to an 11th place finish in the Rick Bryant-owned No. 10 entry.

The action shifted to Florence Speedway in Union, Ky. on Saturday night. Dustin drew the sixth starting spot for his heat race and raced forward to finish fourth. Starting the $2,000-to-win main event in seventh, Nobbe suffered a broken throttle spring early but was able to hold on for an eighth-place finish.

Top-10's for Nobbe Racing at Moler and Florence

(July 18, 2020) Dustin Nobbe set out to enter the Big Daddy Classis at Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Ky.) on Friday night. Unfortunately, Mother Nature forced that event to be postponed.

Instead, the team turned around and shifted their plans to Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio. Dustin qualified fifth overall in the Super Late Model ranks. In heat race action he slipped to a sixth-place finish after starting third. Starting the feature in 11th, Nobbe advanced to a eighth-place finish.

In the Crate Late Model division, Dustin posted a fifth-place finish in his heat race, earning him the 13th starting spot on the feature grid. When the dust settled, Nobbe had worked his way forward to an eighth-place finish.

Saturday night found Nobbe Racing returning to Florence Speedway in Union, Ky. Dustin started and finished third in his Super Late Model heat race, which positioned him starting sixth in the main event. He raced to a fifth-place finish in the 25-lapper behind Trevor Landrum, Billy Green, Josh Rice, and James Rice.

Ted Nobbe made his third start of the season in the Crate Late Model Ranks. After drawing the ninth starting spot for his heat race, Ted suffered a flat tire on the initial green that forced him to the pits. Starting the 20-lap feature in 17th, Nobbe charged through the field to register an eighth-place finish.

In a stout field of Super Late Models, Dustin finished seventh in his heat race, sending him to the B-Main. Needing to place third or better in the B-Main to lock into the $5,000-to-win feature, Nobbe finished one spot short of the transfer in fourth.

On Saturday, Ted and Dustin traveled to Lawrenceburg (Ind.) Speedway for Late Model portion of the 8th Annual Merrill Downey Memorial race. Dustin qualified second overall, earning him the third starting spot on the feature grid. Nobbe went on to finish fifth in the 20-lap affair behind race winner Josh Rice, James Rice, Derek Fisher, and Austyn Mills.

Ted earned this ninth starting position in main event vis his qualifying efforts. Advancing two spots in the 20-lapper, he recorded a seventh-place outing.

Up and Down Weekend for Nobbe Racing in Kentucky Doubleheader

Action came to life on Friday night at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Ky. Dustin would enter both the Super Late Model and Crate Late Model ranks.

In Super Late Model action, Dustin qualified fourth overall before finishing second in his heat race. Earning the fourth starting spot on the feature grid, Nobbe was caught up in a melee early on while battling for third. Forced to restart from the tail of the field, Dustin rebounded to finish tenth in the final rundown.

Piloting the Rick Bryant-owned No. 10 Crate Late Model, Dustin recorded a fourth-place finish in his heat to lock into the 16th spot for A-Main. Nobbe ran as high as tenth in the feature before slipping to a 17th place finish at the checkered flag.

Driving his familiar No. 9n, Ted Nobbe qualified fifth in Crate Late Model action before finishing third in his heat race. Starting the feature in ninth, Ted advanced two spots in the 20-lapper to place seventh.

Shifting to Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, Ky. on Saturday, Dustin Nobbe returned to the seat of Rick Bryant's No. 10 Crate Late Model. With the Super Late Model and Crate Late Model divisions combined, Nobbe qualified eighth before finishing fourth in his heat race. Starting the main event from the eighth spot, Dustin advanced to a seventh-place finish in the final rundown. Nobbe was awarded an additional cash bonus for being the highest finishing Crate Late Model in the field.

He continued to battle the handling on his Valvoline No. 5n Nobbe Mower Shop entry and would ultimately record a 12th place finish in the final rundown.

A field of 29 Super Late Model assembled at the lightning-fast oval for the Shaeffer's Iron-Man Series-sanctioned event. After qualifying tenth in his group, Dustin went on to finish fourth in his heat race to earn a starting spot in the $10,000-to-win main event. Starting 16th in the feature, Nobbe was working his way forward when mechanical issues forced him the retire early from the race.

Nobbe Returns to Action at Clarksville Speedway

Traveling to Clarksville (Tenn.) Speedway, Dustin started last in his heat race after contact with the infield yuke tire in qualifying. He advanced to a sixth-place finish to earn the 11th starting position for the feature. A melee on the opening lap forced Nobbe to the tail of the field. He worked his way back up to seventh before contact with another competitor on the final lap sent him spinning into the infield. Dustin was scored 11th in the final rundown.

Dustin Nobbe Kicks Off 2020 Season at 411

(February 15, 2020) Dustin Nobbe kicked off his 2020 season on Saturday night with the annual Sweetheart race at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tenn.

A stout field of Late Models converged at the 3/8-mile oval. With the Top-16 in qualifying automatically locked into the $2,000-to-win main event, Dustin earned the tenth starting spot on the grid. (October 5, 2019) As the 2019 season nears a close, Florence (KY) Speedway hosted their annual Season Championships on Saturday night. The evening once again found Dustin Nobbe pulling double duty, battling in both the Crate Late Model and Super Late Model divisions.

Dustin would lock into the fifth starting position for the Crate Late Model feature after a solid heat race performance. He went on to register a fifth-place finish in the final rundown. The Kayleigh Hogan Memorial​ boasted an $800 top prize for the Crate Late Model division. Sixteen entries registered for the event. Dustin drew the fifth start position for his preliminary heat race and charged to a second-place finish.

As a result, Nobbe locked into the third starting spot on the feature grid. He went on to a solid second-place finish behind race winner, Jordan Hedger.

Nobbe Enters First-Career Late Model Knoxville Nationals

(September 14, 2019) Dustin Nobbe made the trip to the historic Knoxville (IA) Raceway recently for the 16th annual Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals.

Battling against a field of 55 of the nation's top super late model drivers, Dustin fell short of a transfer position into Thursday's $7,000-to-win preliminary feature.

On Friday, the field was again competing in a complete program with a $7,000-to-win main event. Unfortunately, battling mechanical issues, Nobbe once again came up just short of a transfer position.

The 16th annual Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals concluded on Saturday. Nobbe's preliminary night efforts earned him a sixteenth-place starting position in the B-Main. Needing to place sixth or better to earn a starting spot in the $40,000-to-win finale, Dustin recorded a nineteenth-place finish.

Dustin Nobbe Back at Eldora for World 100

(September 7, 2019) On Thursday night, Dustin Nobbe returned to Eldora Speedway to kick off the 49th annual World 100.

A stout field of 98 Super Late Models converged in Rossburg, Ohio. Thursday's action saw the field into two groups to battle for a pair of $10,000-to-win events. Dustin finished second in his heat race, transferring him into the B-Main. With only the top two finishers from the B-Main going to the 25-lap main event, Nobbe fell just short of a transfer position.

Friday night found the field once again split into two groups, challenging for a pair of $10,000 top prizes. After transferring to a B-Main and needing to place in the top two, Dustin registered a tenth-place finish, ending his night early.

On the final night of this mega event, Nobbe recorded an eleventh-place finish in his heat race, once again forcing him to compete in a B-Main. Unfortunately, Dustin was unable to reach a transfer position, bringing his night to an early end.

Top-Ten Finish in Baltes Classic at Eldora

(September 1, 2019) Dustin Nobbe returned to the famed Eldora Speedway on Saturday night.

The Baltes Classic, a prelude to the 49th Annual World 100, drew a field of 38 Super Late Model drivers to the Rossburg, Ohio oval. To start the night, Nobbe qualified fastest overall in his group, earning him the fourth start position in his heat race after the invert.

Dustin went on to finish third in heat race action, locking him into the eleventh starting spot on the feature grid. In the 30-lap main event, Nobbe fell back early before recovering to a solid ninth-place finish in the final rundown.

Both Dustin and Ted Nobbe went into battle against a strong field of Super Late Models. Dustin started eighth in his preliminary heat race and charged to a third-place finish. Ted started fourth in the same heat and finished second. Ted drew the pole position for the main event while Dustin would start fifth.

Unfortunately, terminal issues just four laps into the feature would bring Ted's night to a disappointing early end. Dustin advanced to a third-place finish behind Josh Rice and Joe Brewer.

Nobbe Racing Returns to Florence for Ralph Latham Memorial

Dustin Nobbe went into battle against a stout field of forty-four competitors in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series portion of the event. A strong qualifying effort earned Dustin the fourth starting position for his heat race.

After falling short of a transfer position, Nobbe would line-up eleventh on the grid for a B-Main. Dustin charged his way through the field to a solid fifth-place finish, unfortunately, just two spots shy of transferring into the 50-lap main event.

Dustin Nobbe Enters 25th Anniversary DLM Dream at Eldora

On Thursday night, the field was divided into a pair of $10,000-to-win events. Unfortunately, the team failed to reach a transfer position into one of the preliminary feature events.

Round #2 of the record-breaking event once again saw the field split in half on Friday night, with another $10,000 winner's purse on the line. Dustin continued to battle the setup on his No. 5N entry, ultimately falling just short of a transfer position.

The weekend drew to a close on Saturday night with the $125,000-to-win finale for the crown jewel event. Driver's earned valuable points in each of the two preliminary nights that would determine the line-ups for Saturday's program. The team's weekend would come to a disappointing early end after failing to reach a transfer position into the 100-lap main event.

Nobbe Racing Finish 1-2 at Lake Cumberland Speedway

In just his second-ever appearance at the 3/8-mile, Dustin made a dominating performance. Nobbe posted the overall fastest lap in time trials, earning him the pole position for his heat race. After charging to a convincing victory in his heat, Dustin locked in the pole for the main event. Nobbe led every lap en-route to his first victory of the 2019 season.

Ted Nobbe would make his first-ever visit to the historic oval. After qualifying second overall, Ted rallied to a heat race win to earn him the second starting spot on the feature grid. He went on to finish second in the final rundown.

Top Five for Ted Nobbe at Florence

(May 18, 2019) After more than a month of being idle courtesy of Mother Nature, Ted Nobbe returned to Florence Speedway on Saturday night.

After drawing the fifth starting position for his heat race, Ted advanced to finish third, locking him into the fifth starting spot for the feature. Nobbe ran as high as third at times during the 20-lap main event before crossing the finish line in fourth behind Brad Rickels, Cody Sasher, and Jordan Hedger.

Weekly Racing at Florence Lands Nobbe Racing a Pair of Top Fives

Dustin Nobbe started fifth in his heat race and charged to the win to earn the pole position for the main event. Dustin bolted to the lead at the start of the 30-lap feature and led 21 circuits before settling to a fourth-place finish in the final rundown.

Ted Nobbe also won his preliminary heat race, earning him the fourth starting position on the feature grid. When the checkered flag waved, Ted crossed the finish line in third behind race winner, Jordan Hedger, and Grant Garrison.

Pair of Top Fives Highlight Weekend Action

(April 6, 2019) Dustin and Ted Nobbe returned to Florence Speedway on Saturday night for a weekly racing event.

Ted Nobbe charged to a convincing heat race win, earning him the second starting spot for the 20-lap feature. Looking for his second victory in as many races, Ted would ultimately settle for a second-place finish behind race winner, Billy Green. Brad Rickels, Vern LeFevers, and Austin Lay completed the top five.

Dustin Nobbe drew the seventh starting spot for his heat race and advanced to a fourth place finish to lock in to the seventh starting spot for the 30-lap main event. During the course of the feature, Dustin move forward to a solid fourth-place finish behind Robby Hensley, Trevor Landrum, and Jesse Lay.

Ted Nobbe Charges to Victory Lane at Florence

Ted drew the sixth starting position for his heat race and stunned the field when he charged to a convincing victory - earning him the pole for the 20-lap main event. In the feature, Ted forged ahead at the drop of the green flag and never looked back. The veteran driver led every lap en-route to his first win of the season over Josh Dietz, Grant Garrison, Cody Sasher, and Brad Rickels.

Dustin qualified tenth overall amongst the twenty-three entrants registered for the event, which boasted a $5,000 top prize. By virtue of the invert, Dustin started on the pole of his heat race, but would settle to a fourth-place finish. After battling the handling on his No. 5n throughout the 50-lap feature, Dustin ultimately finished tenth in the final rundown.
