Dustin scores Top-5 finish in Ike Moler Memorial at MRP Raceway Park

Both Dustin and Ted Nobbe were in action with the Valvoline Iron-Man Northern Series on Friday afternoon at MRP Raceway Park (Williamsburg, OH) for the 14th annual Victor “Ike” IKE Moler Memorial. Earning the ninth and 11th-starting positions for the $5,000-to-win A-Main via preliminary events, Ted passed three cars to finish eighth while Dustin clawed forward four spots to place fifth. For the Harold Hardgrove Memorial on Saturday afternoon at Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Ky.), Dustin salvaged a fifth-place finish in his heat after another competitor cut down his right-rear tire. Ted secured his spot into the $10,022-to-win finale with a fourth-place finish in his heat. With 50 laps to gain some ground, Dustin finished 17th while his dad trailed him in 18th.

Dustin remains leading the Iron-Man Northern Series point standings.
