Pair of Top-10 finishes in Hall of Fame 40 at Lake Cumberland

Making their lone start over the Fourth of July weekend, Dustin and Ted Nobbe invaded Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Ky.) on Sunday afternoon for the Valvoline Iron-Man Southern Series-sanctioned Hall of Fame 40. After mechanical issues in hot laps prevented him from recording a lap in time trials, Ted jumped up two spots in his heat to finish fifth. Dustin locked his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with a third-place finish in his heat. He improved one spot in the 40-lap feature to place fifth while Ted notched a ninth-place finish. Dustin is currently third in the Iron-Man point standings.
