Dustin Nobbe
Up and Down weekend for Nobbe Racing
After sitting idle for nearly four weeks Dustin Nobbe and Nobbe Racing were back in action at Moler Raceway Park and Florence Speedway this past weekend.
On Friday competing against a solid field of 34 at Moler Raceway Park, Nobbe would qualify 3rd overall. This would place him in the fast car dash. He would end up finishing 3rd in the dash giving him the 3rd starting position in the main event. Nobbe was able to jump to 2nd early in the event but fade as the event went along struggling with restart resulting in a solid 5th place finish.
On Saturday Dustin would take both the Super and the Crate to Florence speedway. He would start 6th in his super heat and made it up to finish 4th. This would give him the 11th starting position. Throughout the event Nobbe fading to 16th and then was able to work his way back up to finish 10 at the checkers. Nobbe would also have the crate car with them at Florence. Bad luck would strike early and would end the night before it even started, engine issue would lead to loading the car up before it was even able to hit the track.
Nobbe Racing will go idle once again for a few weeks and will be back in action August 11-13 at the North South 100!
